A Seasonal South Louisiana Cookbook

In 1982, the Thibodaux Service League published the Louisiana Legacy cookbook, a locally beloved collection of nearly 500 souther Louisiana recipes. The cookbook sold over 30,000 copies in the 1980's and continues to be sold today. This cookbook is not an attempt to redo the original Louisiana Legacy cookbook but instead continue and expound upon it. The last sentence of Louisiana Legacy reads: "It is the children who hold the future: in them is the good of the past, the reality of the present and a hope for the best of both in the years to come. They, in the end, are our finest legacy." It is our sincere hp that this cook represents the "best of both" —that is, a combination of the lessons of the past and the enthusiasm and creativity of today in the souther Louisiana culinary world. With all this in ind, after years in the making, we present Louisiana Legacy Today by Thibodaux Service League. Wherever you may be, we hope this cookbook brings you a piece of Southern Louisiana—great food best shared with family and friends.
